Battle of Leignitz 15mm
The Army advances
" />
This was our biggest battle yet with 775pts. per side. The Polish/Tuetonic/Silesia army had 30 units while the Mongol army was made up of 21 units." />
Final minutes,
" />
We fought this out twice with both armies breaking at the same time the first round and the Mongols winning the second one by 3VD. Mongols had a CL that should have broken, rolled a cohension test of 1, the last turn which gave them the win.

Looks like an impressive game.
Did you reduce the base sizes? The cavalry don't look like 6cm deep? Did that effect the play very much?
Love the table. I'm still on a green cloth which looks a bit naff!

It does look impressive, cavalry battles over big distances, stretch the command radius :-)

Looks really cool - and the correct spelling is Liegnitz
(ie is pronounced like "ee" in Lee whilst ei is pronounced like "i"...

Yes, bases are 80x30 for one rank cav while Inf is in 2 ranks. We didn't have enough figs for two ranks of cav. Played on a 9x6 board in full inches. It was very sweeping, great fun and played with three players in under 4 hours.
