Terrain size for 2015 competitions
This should be the last step to fix in order to complete Advanced Impetus 2015
I was thinking about the way low cost flights companies make for baggage
We create 4 rectangular/templates, 2 for 15mm games and 2 for 28mm games.
The smallest rectangular must stay inside the terrain to check the minum size, while the larger is to measure the maximum size and in this case it is the terrain to be accomodated inside the template.
Sizes could be
15mm
Minima 15x10cm
Maxima 25x20cm
28mm
Minima 20x15cm
Maxima 35x25cm
Organisers could prepare such templates for competitions in case someone want to check the regularity

Re: Terrain size for 2015 competitions
Hi,
If you buy terrain from a manufacturer you may find terrain pieces are 25cm x 25cm for 15mm: some a little bigger and some a little smaller. If you want to have a template you are better off having it round as uneven shapes can fit in it easier.

squares instead of rectangles (so 25x25 instead of 25x20 for 15mm) could help

The new diagram. I think this is a good compromise to have 25x25cm terrains for 15mm, as well as oval shapes and not too small items.
