I might add this is a 3hr drive south of Sydney ( beach house ) ..... and not in the centre of town. He he ...so no there are no wild kangaroos in the streets of Sydney.

Hang about, Richard.
I live on what is patronisingly termed "urban fringe" S-W of Sydney. We have 'roos, wombats, goannas and any amount of native bird life. And HUGE ants - very savage bull-ants.

Surely all the Roos have now got red faces after what the Kiwis did to them?

That would imply we were interested in Rugby League, bobm.
Personally I prefer the current train wreck that is the Wallabies.
My true love is hockey and we're world champions at that - men and women. Hitting people with sticks is fun.

Actually Canadians are the world champions at hockey. I don't know what you're talking about unless you mean field hockey which is at best a second tier sport.

Take your hockey and stick it where the sun don't shine!
Oh wait, that's where ice hockey is played...
