Initiative
Newbie player here so apologies if this is covered elsewhere.
When commanders roll of for initiative the winner takes his turn and activates units from his command, that’s clear but could you advise me on the following.
1. Can the winner of the initiative dice off choose not to move and hand this to his opponent?
2. When the winner has finished activating units does the opposing command that lost the initiative take its go, or is there a fresh round of initiative rolls with the loser/command that did not activate being able to roll again?
It seems to me that losing the initiative early in the game can be a benefit as it allows lots of reactions. Obviously once units are more closely engaged it’s usually better to move/charge/shoot first.
We have only played the rules a couple of times but noted that it is possible for one army to activate and move all of its commands/units before the other side.
Cheers.

Re: Initiative
1. No
2. Second option. Fresh round of initiative rolls
(check 4.0, page 20 in the rules)
Yes, sometimes I prefer to lose the iniative. In that case winning is the bad luck roll.
With this system you can get all sort of combinations when activating both sides commands.
