When a unit retreats from losing a melee, does it maintain its same facing (facing toward the attacker) or about face and move off (facing away from attacker)? BI2.0 is silent on this matter but Baroque states that a retreating unit maintains its orignial facing.

Hi Jon - if unit retreats it will maintain same facing. The winning unit might decide to pursue and if can reach the retreated unit in pursuit a second round of combat would begin.
