Wheeling Limits

The Impetus 2 rules state on page 26 that a wheel "can exceed more than 90 degrees."

However, the QRS V1.3.1 states that the maximum wheel is 90 degrees.

Does the QRS override the rules?

Usually I would always say the Rules are the final word - the QRS the copy. So until Lorenzo confirms which needs to be edited I'd go with the rules.

Impetus 1 had a 90 limit on wheeling but that was removed in Impetus 2. Speaking of wheeling we are still using the Impetus 1 wheel templates divided in MUs. I think it would helpful to have a new template with the 1/2 BWs on it. My opinion is that any portion of 1/2BW used to wheel should use up the whole 1/2BW. We are still using MUs for wheeling which is not helpful.

Thanks, I see that the rules take precedence. A new wheeling template would be useful. Was there also a template for the shooting arc?

I think a shooting arc was made but I can't say for sure. We have never used one. After all, we need something to argue about!

no limits on wheel in Impetus 2

There's a new QRS version (1.3.2) on the site. The 90º degrees wheel limit was removed.

Does anyone know if there were any other changes?

No other changes.
(I do the maintenance for this alternate QRS).
