Storming Impetus

Ok, first of all a question about the name. Does it sound it good?

Well this is a small supplement for Impetus that I plan to release in the next weeks or so and it is about storming fortifications in ancients and medieval age.
Now, it is not a supplement on siege warfare, just about storming strongholds, mostly made up of palisades and ditch.

The idea is not new, but after the reading of Alesia (Osprey Campaign) I put down the rules. Simple and fast. And to use with Impetus. It workd to assault a Roman fortified camp, a celtic walled village, a Norman motte...

So, is the name good in your opinion?

Have someone some fortification and figs that can be used for some nice pics?

Intriguing, do these supplementary rules retain Impetus basing? Shall look forward to seeing this supplement.

My opinion the name Storming Impetus is most appropriate.

yes, sure, same basing of Impetus.
The idea is that for example the attacker get 350pts, same the defender but part of the budget is to buy the fortifications.
There will be some additional info on how to make the list from the army lists. For example the minima for mounted will drop to 0 and or the key to swap mounted units with foot units. Probably all the armies will be allowed to field some artillery.

But apart this, the rules are to play with Impetus armies you have.

How about, "Impetus Assault" for a name (not being beaten around the head with an Impetus rulebook).
