Few rules questions
Hello,
I'm after my first battle in BI 2.0 - the game was pure joy! However, we have couple of questions, as I read the rules few times and couldn't find clear answers.
1) Charging with a group and making additional charging movement. Do I roll for whole group, or for each unit separately?
2) Making a wheel when few units are in line ABCD - what if I'd like to wheel on the left with ABC and leave unit D in place? The right-back corner of the C unit will have to move through the unit D. Is it possible?
3) Unit was attacked from the flank and win. Enemy has to retreat and my unit can pursuit. Do I understand correctly, that I have to pivot around the point on the middle of my front side [which effectively place me 1H from the enemy before he retreated] and then I roll a die and move with my centerpoint toward his centerpoint? What about situation when my unit was part of a group and my other unit interfere with this pivot move?
4) Similar as above, but my unit is attacked from the rear. Do I make a pivot around center of my front side or just change my front side with my back side (180 degrees in place)?

Looking at 2.5 it says "A Group moves as if it were a single Unit" so I think that you roll for the Group
2) Making a wheel when few units are in line ABCD - what if I'd like to wheel on the left with ABC and leave unit D in place? The right-back corner of the C unit will have to move through the unit D. Is it possible?
I'd allow it - every other version of Impetus allows this form of interpenetration as long as you are clear of the unit within normal movement
3) Unit was attacked from the flank and win. Enemy has to retreat and my unit can pursuit. Yes pivot until you are perpendicular with a line joining the two front centres. It then moves the random pursuit distance. The fnal distance from the enemy rather depends on the two randomising dice rolls - you miight be 1H away from the initial position after the pivot but this depends on the angles of contact.
Again I would ignore interpenetration for the pivot itself - For the pursuit itself refer to 5.7.2
4) Similar as above, but my unit is attacked from the rear. Do I make a pivot around center of my front side or just change my front side with my back side (180 degrees in place)?
As writ you pivot on the front edge, but I can see your point - in practice I would be happy to allow a 180* about face and then roll for pursuit distance. As long as there was consistency in the game I don't see it as a major issue but if in doubt I'd do the measurement as written - via a pivot on the front edge centre point.
