Impetus ITC in Rome
People organizing FOG ITC (International Team Challange) in Rome have invited me to organize an ITC also for Impetus.
The venue would be a very beautiful hotel in central Rome.
Here some details on the venue they forwarded to me:
Date: 5th & 6th September
Venue: hotel Savoy **** superior http://www.savoy.it/
Address: via Ludovisi 15 (in the center of Rome) http://www.savoy.it/eng/accommodations_4_stars_rome.htm
rooms rates: single room 90€ x night breakfast included
double room use single 110€ x night breakfast included
double room 130€ x night breakfast included (65€ per person/night)
tournamant cost (2 days): 55€ included saturday and sunday lunch and prizes
FoG is on 2 days but for Impetus we can choose.
The format would be Teams of 2 or 3 players with one or more teams for each nation. Each player would play on a specific poll, according to period (or scale).
Anyway we can customize the competition as we prefer, but I need to know if some players coming from outside Italy would be interested to come.
The venue is unique and a good occasion to visit Rome, also bringing the partner/family.
I will not run this competition if we have not at least 2 not Italian teams, so any feed back is welcome.

No English team? No Scottish Team? No Welsh team?
An Australian player at the moment, would be nice toe have a OZ representative

What scale of figures are you thinking of Lorenzo - if it's alongside FoG will you go with 15mm as well? Cheers

Re: Impetus ITC in Rome
we are free to decide our own formula. With FoG we just share the space and the advantages of special prices for the hotel.
From the first feedback among Italian players some prefer 15mm and some other 28mm. It much depends on how many players come from abroad.
For example if we have just 4 players from abroad, we can split into 2 pools and make 2 teams of 2 for Italy and 2 international teams.
This is the minimum required to run the competition. A very friendly meeting ;-)
With 2 pools we can decide to make one pool open/period 15mm and one open/period 28mm, or make an ancient pool and a medieval pool in the same scale.
I think it is up to not Italian players to decide and Italians will follow.
