Medium Cavalry and Value Demoralisation

Which value is correct?
I also have doubts about the following detachments. Unfortunately, I do not know the algorithm for calculating VD and perhaps I'm worried for nothing

In General the rule for VD is:
VD=3: VBU7 or higher; Higher VBU in the list
VD=2: VBU6; VBU5; CL with VBU 4
VD=1: VBU4; VBU3; VBU2; VBU1
VD=0: CF, Bomb

But there are several exceptions.

You confused me even more. More detailed comments seem to be needed. I looked at some lists from Warbook 2. There are also many examples of different types of cavalry with VB6 and with VD 2 or 3

If 6 is the highest VBU value in the list then the VBU 6 unit gets a VD=3.
But if there are VBU's of 7 or higher then the VBU 6 unit gets a VD=2.

See for example list 16.4 for the first case. The Mamluks and the Guilman Lancers with VBU 6 are the highest VBU units in the list. They get VD=3

In list 16.3. as there is Latinikon with VBU 7, the VBU 6 units (Varangians and lower grade Latinikon) now only get VD=2.
