Terrain in Large Tables
The terrain system for 15mm is designed for 120x90 tables, giving up to three pieces. What are people doing with 180x120 tables? Generation and number of pieces?

Re: Terrain in Large Tables
We rarely use the terrain generator but if i were were increasing the table size by a third presumably because more units being used think all i would do is increase size of terrain pieces by a third. Wouldnt use more terrain pieces on bases same batlle as on smaller table but everything is increased number of units/table size/terrain size. At the end of the day its entirely your choice. Eric

Re: Terrain in Large Tables
We also don't use the terrain generator system from Impetus. Probably one of the weaker parts of the rules. We have developed our own terrain generation system. It is actually quite good if I don't mind saying. It is a combination of maps and cards. We also created a new terrain piece called "rise" that obscures line of sight but doesn't give a melee advantage to represent undulating terrain. We also use more pieces that are for the most part small in size.
I think Lorenzo might have been well served if he had canvassed a wide group of Impetus players to see what they were doing before writing Impetus 2.

Will do jcfrog. I will need a couple of weeks to get the files together and update the instructions so that they are clear to follow. Will post on the Forum when I get things ready.

Re: Terrain in Large Tables
Just to say I have gotten everything together for the Terrain Generation System we use. I would like to send it to a couple of Impetus players to have it looked over before sharing it with the larger group to make certain it is understandable. If you are interested let me know and I will send it to you.
