impetus :: BAROQUE :: Baroque - the rules

Played Baroque when rules 1st released but didn't get round to rebading figures now giving rules another go. In impetus its clear the bases cannot be in exact alignment and have to be offset when contact is made. Is it the same for Baroque can't see it in rules unless i've missed something.
