Montrose list released

It will be followed in the next days by a Covenanter list

In reality Montrose army would really only have 1-2 units of lancers.

it is proportionated to other troops types

Just my opinion, I would go:-

0-2 GA Horse (Gordon and Aboyns Horse) GA would be a better reflection of how they fought than RE.
0-3 GA Lancers
OR
CL Lancers (to reflect the poor quality of their horses)
0-1 WB McColla's Bodyguard
0-6 WB Highlanders
0-3 P&M Irish
2-12 P&M Scots 'C' class
0-2 P&M Scots 'B' class ( Strathboggie and Gordon of Monimore)
0-1 Light artillery.

Just my humble thoughts I would probably name them Scottish Royalists which might (?) extend the time period back to 1639.

Looking forward to the Scottish Covenant list. I have both armies for another rule set.

FWIW - I waiver between having Montrose as a 3 or a 4
(And sometimes 2 wouldn't be too far off the mark)
When I have Montrose and MacColla together I make them both 3 and use the best CS.

Thanks for that I would add 0-1 Dragoons as well. I am interested in what comes out for the Government forces.
