Reviews etc
Are there any reviews out there or examples from the book etc for someone to look at before they buy a copy?

Re: Reviews etc
don't think yet. The games has just been released.
For any question you can ask in this forum. Of course being the author I will not give a judgment on the rules (and if I do, take it as the author's judgment).
In short I can give some ideas about the game.
First, it is a skirmish game. Contrary to most of skirmish games you can act with single figures and with groups.
For example with SAGA (just to mention probably the most popular skirmish set for the dark age but also for the medieval period) you just act with "groups". In L&S you can form groups more freely attaching figures and the are ok for most of melee, but at the same time you can see the heroic actions of a single figure.
You roll at the start of each turn to see how many action points you can use. Most of troops cost 1 pt for the fisrt action, 2 for the second and 3 for the third.
EG a crossbowman can spend 1 point to aim and 2 more points (second action) to shoot. Total 3 points.
The rules have lists for the Feudal period (generic list), for the Mongols and for the Wars of the Roses. and include also the points system so you can create your armies. More official lists will follow anyway.
